AAA as usual

There really isn't much more to say than TurboTax has never led me astray. The one time there was a software error I was notified quickly and TurboTax took the blame and owned the error. No penalties were required by the IRS. That was a few (maybe 4 or 5) years ago and since then --- no problems. A really dependable and indispensable aid to tax preparation.
What's great about it: Never a problem that couldn't be addressed

WAY EASIER THAN I THOUGHT

Being the first time I filed for my taxes myself it was way easier than I anticipated. I was worried about the terminologies, but the blue hyperlink words really help out. I would recommend that every tax novice like me try it out.
What's great about it: Everything is explained in detail so you understand what is expected of you

Just what I wanted

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years and it has never let me down. I have even had other CPAs check my returns and they admit that they couldn't have found everything that Turbo Tax found.
What's great about it: Easy to use and all questions answered

can get caught in a loop!

I have gone over my return several times and always have the same numbers. Now when In try to efile I am told that I need to send it in by mail as there are forms that cannot go electronically even though they are
the same forms I have used for years. My state also REQUIRES me to file electronically and the program will not allow it. Talk about frustration!

Easy to follow

Still very happy using Turbo Tax. I have used it for many years and it is always easy to use. For the first time, this year I had to call for some assistance and just like the product, customer service was fast and easy. Thank you for a wonderful product.

Missing features and frustrations

3 areas that need improvement:
1) When TT pushes for Standard Deduction doesn't give option to display comparison of what and why.
2) didn't accept last year's password when came to filing time, and wanted to get payment for state filing.
3) and worst of all, when tried to reset my password with the PIN I was just emailed, it wouldn't accept the simple PIN which was 4 characters all in caps.!!!
