Happy and not so happy about Turbotax

This program is relatively easy to use. It guides me step by step and gets me the deduction that I did not realized that I could take.
However, It is kind the long winded at some steps. Also, I though I had used TurboTax for three four years now and that it should know whether or not I have claimed American Life time Learning Opportunity credit before. Instead, the program asked me have I claim it last year. I was in a hurry and didn't want to spend time to look for my last year's tax return; I took a guess and it is wrong. Now I need to file an amendment.
Other than that, it is quit easy to use.
What's great about it: Relatively easy to use
What's not so great: Long winded and some deductions and credits were not very clear that I would have to take a guess

I would have like to see more detailed information as to what expenses could be claimed and deducted for college expenses.
What's great about it: standard deductions very useful

I have TurboTax CDs from 2007 to present and I will continue to purchase TurboTax CDs for future filing tax returns.
What's great about it: Helpful for answers to questions for still a beginner using TurboTax
What's not so great: Absolutely NONE!!!

Over all, very pleased with this products and will use from now on.
What's great about it: allows me to double check everything and look for irs forms with just a click.
What's not so great: need more support for entering unusual Tax Expenses to lower AGI

Used this program for years and have limited problems . When I spoke to Customer Service I had no problems with them as well

THOROUGHLY RELIABLE

I've used TurboTax software for many years. I've never been disappointed nor have I encountered any issues with either the state department of revenue or federal IRS. I anticipate using TurboTax products for years to come!
What's great about it: Intuitive; thorough; easy to negotiate
What's not so great: None

Great...easy...walks me through...asks me questions. Great product for someone with simple returns who may not keep up with the ever changing tax rules.
