Turbo Tax - Taxes Made Simple

I've used Turbo Tax for the past 10 years. So easy to use and sure beats having to pay tax preparers by form submitted. Not saying a preparer is not to be considered. But, if you have regular income, pay taxes, have deductions, etc., then Turbo is the way to go. Every year it shows what the previous submissions were against what you input in the current tax year. The program steps you through each area from income to deductions. It then does a complete review to see if any errors were made and prompts you to look at those areas. If you live in a state that has a state income tax, Turbo Tax computes that return literally - in about a minute. All your federal return data crosses to the state return and is calculated. If issues, you are prompted again to review, if not, then your done with state and on to filing. Filing is fast and secure and I'm notified by email that my federal and state tax returns were accepted, if a refund due, when it is sent, etc. So, get on the Turbo Tax team! You won't be disappointed!
What's great about it: Program walks you through every step. No guessing.
What's not so great: If you owe and charge to a credit card, there's a fee

ALWAY USE TURBO TAX-DON'T LIKE THE EXCLUSIONS IN DELUXE VERSION. SHOULD LEAVE IT ALONE AND JUST CHARGE MORE IF THEY NEED TO. BUT WILL CONTINUE TO USE.
HAVE CHANGED MY PRIMARY CPU-DESKTOP TO LINUX. YOU GUYS ARE LOSING A LOT OF BUSINESS.. HATE DOING THIS ON A LAPTIOP
What's great about it: eASY TO USE AS ALWAYS
What's not so great: CAN'T PRINT MY RETURN AFTER E-FILING

Not as easy as advertised

Help with the Foreign Tax Form is useless and gave us untold stress with the lack of simple, easy to understand directions. The system kept logging us out while we were still working on taxes,
What's great about it: Calculatiuons done rapidly in background
What's not so great: No shortcut to standard deduction even though I know before starting that I'll never beat the standard by itemzing.

Easy for a non lawyer type to understand

This is the first time that we used Turbo Tax and we found it easy and straight forward to use. It also done away with words that only a lawyer or tax consultant can understand. Thank You.

This program is a lifesaver for the uninitiated tax preparer.. it is also very easy for the not so computer literate. it is simple to follow. Asks all the questions you may not think of regarding deductions and makes tax preparation accessible to the layman. Thank you.
What's great about it: Very easy to understand and follow.
What's not so great: How to print the returns was confusing.

Easy To Use..Love This Product

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years and have always found it easy to use with great help tools in itemizing deductions.
What's great about it: Overall Simple to Follow with Great Support
What's not so great: Would like to file State for free up to 5 with Delux even paying a little more for the product

Turbotax Deluxe 2014 was easy to use and asked a lot of questions to help me find my deductions. The general quesitons at the first made it easy to find my deductions when more detailed information was needed.
What's great about it: Asks lots of questions and has example deductions galore
What's not so great: none I can think of
