Since You Must Do It-Turbo Tax It!

Taxes are a must so don't sweat it. Get Turbo Tax, follow the prompts and fill in the blanks. It does the work for you and you can rest at ease and get them done.
What's great about it: Just follow prompts and fill it in...its that easy

Good and Bad Experience

I have been a Turbo-Tax user since 1995 and I usually have very few, if any, problems filing taxes. This year, I had Turbo Tax set up on a computer which i have used Turbo-Tax Product on the past 2 years.
When I completed my return and it was time to file, the software would not connect to the e-Filing Servers to allow my payment to go through and e-File my State and Federal Returns.
I had an internet connection on that computer because Ii could surf the net and check E-Mail without issue. The Turbo-Tax software was just not connecting. I even disabled Virus Protection Software temporarily to see f that was the problem and it was not.
Finally, I had to install Turbo-Tax onto another computer, which did allow me to eFile my returns.
To be fair, I was e-Filing at 3:00am EST and the servers could have been down. I would, however, like to see an indicator showing if the servers are up, or down, or being maintained, etc. so I know to refile without having to install the software product onto another computer as a workaround.
Now I have to remove the product from two computers.

Better than Ever

I am very pleased with the speed of completing a return. with all of the assistance from turbotax it is simple to finish a return.
What's great about it: easier to use than prrevious years! yeah
What's not so great: moving form to form is not easy

Makes tax season easy for me!

I like the tutorial method of step by step information entry. It's arranged in proper order and makes sense of the information being gathered. It also ensures that I don't miss any information that needs to be added. And another great benefit is that the prior year's information gets imported quickly and easily making completion of the current year a seamless effort.
I have been using TurboTax for many years now (since the pre-CD era) and I have always been pleased with the ease of completing and filing my returns. I haven't used any other income tax software or tax preparation service since I began using TurboTax.
What's great about it: Easy step by step process
What's not so great: None that are of major consequence
