I have used Turbo Tax for several years now. It's very user friendly and I LOVE the tax calculator tab at the top that changes while I'm entering data.

E-file function

I have clicked on the e-file icon but nothing happens. Can't scroll down the page either. Page acts as if frozen. Don't get any message to be patient or that it will take a while. No response. Very frustrating. I'm using the desktop deluxe.
What's great about it: I'm supposed to be able to e-file.
What's not so great: I click the e-file icon over and over. Nothing happens

Deluxe 2014 Sets the Standard

Only change for next year would be to be brought back to the last place that you were in the return, when you did a save or closed the application (to gather additional information).
What's great about it: This version is as easy to nagivate as all prior editions. Simple but concise language guides you effortlessly.
What's not so great: Wish, since I returned after several saves, that you were not always brought back to the beginning.

turbotax delux

The IRA rollover part was confusing. If the 1099R is for a rollover it shows up as income.....when it really isn't income. I spent a good hour over this confusing problem. Then discovered at the end of the program (review) that it indeed isn't counted as income...or at least taxable income.....very confusing.
What's great about it: easy to use ..step by step walk through
What's not so great: IRA Rollove was confusing

would like to be able to find more deductions. It used to tell you what you could do to stretch your dollars better or plan for next year's return. I didn't see that this year. I have used this software for years and have never had any problems with it.

Thank you for your easy to follow program. I've used it for many years and still marvel at its ease of use.
There were only a few times I didn't know which way to answer your questions.
A small reduction in cost would be helpful to return users and for the average person.
Keep up the good work!!
What's great about it: Your questions are VERY easy to understand
What's not so great: I think the price of Turbo Tax is too high.
