Have been using TURBO TAX for many years. This year was the easiest ever.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Much improved over last year.

I have used turbo tax for years and this is the first year I could not print a copy. It kept wanting to convert the format and took forever. Either the turbo tax program is junk or this garbage windows 8 corrupted everything. Very frustrating. I hope what was efile transmitted correctly.
What's great about it: easy navigation
What's not so great: could not print a copy of my return.......turned all jiberish.

I really like the sections that walk you through every step. Sometimes the definitions aren't clear in the choices like with the retirement information so more information would be helpful. After going to the accountant and watching him input the information I collected to do the taxes in his computer and feeling like I had done all the work Turbo Tax allows me to do the input and save lots of money.
What's great about it: The step by step guides
What's not so great: In the 1099-R sections the choices aren't really cleared as to payments

I went through all the trouble of going through the itemize steps only to be told the standard deduction was best for us. I wish the standard deduction amount had been shown before these steps because I could have easily seen we didn't have enough to itemize

I have been doing my taxes with Turbo Tax for 15 years and have never had any problems or audits. It's great to import everything automatically especially from my employer.

This is the second year that I have used Turbo Tax . It is precise, helps troubleshoot any typos and is a professional way to affordably file your taxes. It takes away the stress of filing taxes and entering in all of those numbers. They do the job for you with each step.
What's great about it: All of the extra confirmations that my return was correct
What's not so great: There wasn't anything I didn't like about TurboTax.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
