Not clear that annuties are classified as retirement funds.

Program was not stable

I was not taxing this software at all. My return was not complex. It locked up several times trying to connect to it's deductible.
What's great about it: I'm done
What's not so great: Program was not stable, took too long to load, locked up several times.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax makes completing and filing returns easy.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax lead me through each step
What's not so great: It is difficult to correct pre-populated information

I purchased the software; thought the price included the filing...apparently not. Otherwise fairly straight-forward...curious how it will go next year.
What's great about it: fairly easy to navigate
What's not so great: some aspects a little slow
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Taxes made easy

Turbo Tax makes a daunting task a walk in the park. Even with all the changes to current tax law, anybody could pick up a copy of Turbo Tax and have total confidence that their taxes were done right.
What's great about it: simple step by step instructions

Our taxes have been filed!

Finally got it done! I will make a check-off list before next year's filing season. When I gather information, it isn't always broken down the way it's asked on the form and I have to refigure the numbers. EX: medical expenses.
What's great about it: Mostly fill-in-the-blanks.
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to find a specific item & get to it to make a change

I had an even better experience this year than I did last year. Very easy to follow instructions.
What's great about it: Deductions were easy to compile.
What's not so great: Too many pages printed out.
