Turbo Tax Makes it Easy

I appreciate the functionality of Turbo Tax. Since I'm no tax expert, I need to be guided through the process of income entry and deduction finding. Turbo Tax does this for me.

Pretty good

The Form 1099-R I received from my IRA plan did not contain a box 9. The form stated Boxes 8-11 are not included because they are not applicable. The software automatically populated a Box 9 as 0.00%. That was not acceptable. I finally figured out that if I deleted that pre-populated 0.00% and left it blank, I was able to proceed.
What's great about it: Covered everything except one item
What's not so great: Issue with % of distribution required for IRA manditory distribuition

Have been using TurboTax for years and they have been helpful at every turn. The review section is the greatest because I have gone back and found items I had left out.
What's great about it: Was very easy to follow. Went through every deduction.
What's not so great: Was confusing at first when asked should I exchange for different copy.

I like turbo tax

I do not store personal info on my computer, I would like a simple way to put tax return on a memory stick and complete erase from computer. Also a simple way to retrieve info to the next years returns.
What's great about it: I have used turbo tax for over 20 years, great program!!!
What's not so great: no simple way to buy and download
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This is my ninth year of using Turbo Tax and it just gets easier every year. I have never had an issue with using it or with the IRS
