simple and understandable

I've used turbotax for the last 7 years and I've always been happy with all my returns. My only gripe would be the time it takes and I wish it just "magically" knew all of the answers I have to go through.
What's great about it: simple and easy to navigate
What's not so great: it's just quite a lot to go over

The detailed step by step directions should allow almost anyone to do their own taxes instead of a paid preparer thus saving you money!!
And if you have any questions just click on the links for detailed & easy to understand explanations.
We have used Turbo Tax for the past 5 years w/ no audits & we like the feature that once you put in your basic personal information i.e. name(s), S.S. #, address, birthdate(s), etc. you never have to again which speeds up the process even more.

The Dubious Joy of an Amended Return

I only hope and pray that you won't make the HUGE change for 2015 that you attempted in 2014. This 2013 program is easy to use, easy to notice the mistakes as well. If I will need to pay four times more for the same product, I will need to consider the alternatives.
TurboTax has made it so comfortable and convenient to go from year to year--that is the main attribute that has kept me coming back year after year after year.
I deeply hope that this message is received by your company.

Turbo Tax Review

All in all I highly recommend Turbo Tax. The only issue I have is when you enter other taxes paid. I must locate the form and manually enter the taxes. Turbo Tax does not cover those taxes when you fill out the questionnaire.
What's great about it: Very Easy to use
What's not so great: Issue with entering other taxes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Good until the end

When I tried to purchase additional downloads i.e. state tax and state filing fee, the system would not let me. I called customer service and a very nice lady (Jessica), helped me get the state tax download. But when I tried to e-file the state, it again wouldn't let me. Rather than call again, I printed copies and mailed it.
What's great about it: easy to understand questions
What's not so great: software gliches
