Love Turbo Tax

Love Turbo Tax. Having been using it for 13 years now. Makes doing taxes easy and without a lot of headache
What's great about it: Very easy and detailed
What's not so great: having to do my taxes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Quick and easy

My taxes aren't terribly complicated--I'm a homeowner and I do itemize, but other than that there isn't anything outside the norm. All the same, it's been years since I did my taxes without turbotax. To me, it's worth it because of the time savings, the quick answers to my questions, and the peace of mind of having the included review. I'd absolutely recommend it.
What's great about it: Short pop-up boxes answered every question I had
What's not so great: no complaints

So Frickin Easy!

This is the 10th year that Ive used Turbo Tax and I would recommend it to anyone who want to take control of their taxes.
What's great about it: Very easy to do
What's not so great: No straight forward correlation to the IRS documents

When I purchased this years Turbo Tax I thought the State filing was free as well as the Federal. When the payment screen comes up it makes one feel that I am paying for both filings. Can't that be explained like. Your paying for State filing ONLY!
I had the same problem last year and I see that my suggestion was not looked at.
I'll still purchase Turbo Tax as it the best way for do my taxes.
What's great about it: Forms are easy to do
What's not so great: Payment is hard to understand

Not too painful!

Over the years your product has continued to improve and become more streamlined. There is still a problem of going back to make changes or additions but not as bad as in previous editions.
What's great about it: Much improved over prior years, easier to follow instructions
What's not so great: Navigation still a little stiff going back to correct or complete

Steady as a Rock

This makes the 8th or 9th year we've filed using Turbo tax. It's easy, I can do my taxes on my schedule. They are always correct and for the maximum refund. I guess the biggest thing I can say is that I don't dread tax season anymore and I'm sure I'm getting the maximum refund each year.
What's great about it: Never disappoints
What's not so great: No shortcuts

Good software, but problems with installation

Apparently there were some compatibility issues with my Windows 7 software (??) that prevented TurboTax from starting when I clicked the icon. I finally had to right-click to select the "compatibility issues" option and walk through that process before I was able to get it to start. Don't understand this, as I have Windows 7 home Premium SP1. It certainly wasn't "intuitive" to figure out how to get the program to launch!
What's great about it: software is good, got me an unexpected refund
What's not so great: had problems getting it to start!
