This is a great user friendly software to work with.
I`ve been using this Tax Software now for 10 years.
It`s so very easy to work with, it walks you through every step of the way and covers everything.

Great Tool

This is the first time I've prepared my taxes on my own in years. Turbo Tax made it easy and walked me through every step of the way. Had both state and federal done in a couple hours.
What's great about it: Easy to use, very explanatory, helpful

Still needs work

Have been using this product for years but was disappointed when I went to file separate returns rather than joint and it did not tell me who or how much we were entitled to on the mortgage interest & taxes. In the end I ended up filing a joint return but you would think it would not allow you to file separate returns and both spouses being able to claim this on each return. Seeing as how you can divide it up but can only claim the total amount paid. This could create a problem for some. other than that I do plan on continuing using it just hope they get this fixed in the future.
What's great about it: great step by step features
What's not so great: Doesn't indicate on seperate return if you and spouse file that way who can take mortgage interest and taxes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Straight forward and quick

I've used Turbo Tax for many years and have found it to be thorough and complete in helping me through my taxes. I like to see each tax issue as it relates to me and my situation, to be able to consider the pros and cons of submitting information. Some years I may take a week or so pondering my taxes, other years I may get them done in a day or so. It depends on the issues.
I recommend Turbo Tax, but I do use local free tax experts for one-on-one questions.

What's not so great: Finding answers to questions is not easy

I COULD NOT DOWNLOAD MY 2013 FILE SO I HAD TO DO EVERYTHING FROM SCRATCH FOR 2014---DESPITE TRYING TO FOLLOW YOUR INSTURCTIONS ON HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE FILE FROM iNTUIT. very DISAPPOINTED.
