Paid for state filing, but got caught in a loop that wouldn't transmit the file. Couldn't back out and couldn't continue. Kept receiving alternate dialog boxes with conflicting messages. Smooth as silk until this major glitch at the very end.

Overall I have had consistent success with Turbo Tax. Being clergy it helps as there are so many rules that differ for my filing. I was frustrated a bit in not being able to go back and change an entry that felt was wrong. I also had a great deal of confusion on the disposition of a vehicle and its replacement and getting the right info on the form. The review said it was OK so I am trusting TT on this. Having used TT for eight years I will continue to use them as long as it serves my tax filing needs.
What's great about it: I like how I am led through the process.
What's not so great: I found it difficult with vehicle disposition questions.

Using TurboTax 2014 Couldn't be Simpler

I started using TurboTax back in 1986 when it was just a DOS program. I have continued to use it each year including in 1989 when we took a corporate move to Georgia. I like how user friendly the application is and how well the built in checkers keep me honest and out of trouble. Knock on Wood - never had an IRS audit since I started using TurboTax; and, its yearly cost is way below taking my tax preparation to a tax service. I punch out my federal and state returns within 90 minutes and I have my refunds in my checking account within 7 to 15 days. TurboTax has always provided me with outstanding service and support.
What's great about it: Been using TurboTax since 1986! It mades quick work of my Federal and State taxes.
What's not so great: I like all that TurboTax has to offer an individual. NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS

A Little Disappointed

I have used Turbo Tax for several years. There are some changes this year that make it not as user friendly. I really did not like it going to the actual federal form when it needed to point out to me some things I needed to check on at the end. The actual federal form is confusing. That is why I use Turbo Tax. When the actual federal form came up for the corrections, it was confusing. ;(
What's great about it: Explanations are good.
What's not so great: Changed from previous years. :(

Glitch this year

this year, could not correct an entry (First Time Home Buyer credit), & after 3 tries, cancelled report & started over.
What's great about it: format includes pick & choose, as well as review all.
What's not so great: this year, could not correct an entry.

Outstanding program. Turbotax relieves the anxiety of tax preparation.
What's great about it: Guidance and ease of operation.
What's not so great: Cant seem to get the confirmation codes to work on line.
