ok but...

OK product but I was very disappointed in the amount of time i have had to spend on purchasing my state e-file. First of all it would not allow me to charge my credit card to pay for state e-file. Then when I called they message said they were busy so the took my information but never called back. Then when I got frustrated enough to have them pull from my refund they wanted to charge an additional 34.99 for the "extra work." Ridiculous. In the past this product has run much smoother. Very disappointed in the 2014 updates. Hopefully you can fix it for 2015.
What's great about it: easy to enter
What's not so great: credit card payment error when filing

Complicated My Life

TT worked fine until I e-filed. It went ahead and populated a field with the previous years pin, which started a long series of events. The reason I use TT is so I can e-file. I cannot e-file this year. The error was ultimately my mistake, BUT this is designed to be user friendly. As a general rule, you should not auto populate fields with erroneous information. If the field was left blank the proper information would have been inserted. I am now filing by mail and will likely have to convince the IRS I am who I say I am.
What's great about it: Walk through is still pretty straight forward
What's not so great: E-file System has Serious Bugs
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

buggy software

On the state return portion of the software one page came up with an error saying it couldn't connect to the internet. Didn't seem to be any reason why an internet connection would have been required for that page. Then the software wouldn't allow me to e-file the state form because it wanted the new property tax form that hadn't been released yet and isn't submitted with the state tax at this time anyway. After deleting the form from the list and continuing, the software wouldn't connect to allow purchase of the state submittal. Although I haven't had such problems in the past, this years tax software is a real embarrassment for Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Federal return processed without any problems
What's not so great: State return wasted lots of my time due to software bugs

WILL NOT BE BUYING TURBO TAX AGAIN!!!

for the second year in a row I have bought a turbo tax cd that says federal efile free and 1 free state efile. And just like last year it will not let me efile my state for free!!! two years in a row !!! I will not!!! Ill repeat it one more time. I WILL NOT BUY TURBO TAX AGAIN!!!

Bad Info on 1099R

I just about filed my return shown a return of everything I paid-in. You had no way to handle a 1099R CSR that showed "UNKNOWN" in Box 2. If I had filed I know it would have been kicked out and I would have been in trouble. Trouble I do not need.
What's great about it: Not much
What's not so great: My 1099R from CSR Showed "UNKNOWN" in Box 2 You said I got everything back. WRONG!
