Easy even for a "numbers-challenged" person!

Even though I am more of a "word" person than "number" person, and I am 70 years old, the program was helpful and the directions were easy to follow. My refund was more than I expected, and the ability to "e-file" for speed was awesome! Thanks, Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions, ability to "backtrack" if needed!
What's not so great: No serious problems......

Still the ONE!

I have used Turbo Tax ever since the company bought out Chip Soft (which I had been using). The amount of time it saves in tax return preparation is frightening. As a non-math oriented person it is a breeze and takes much of the stress out of Tax time.
Perhaps someday the program will simply read the scanned in W-2's, 1098's, 1099's and so on to eliminate entry errors.
Till then, SEMPER FINANCE!
What's great about it: The ability to have one's hand held through the process or to fly solo.

Easy to use!

I have been using this product for years. I like that it is so easy to use. It covers most deduction topics and walks you through the process. The only con is that, if you have some uncommon deductions, you have to search the IRS website for information. The program does provide the link to the IRS website, though.
What's great about it: easy, covers most topics
What's not so great: some things aren't so easy to find

The usual fine job--used Turbotax for YEARS

I've used Turbotax since 1998 w/no problems. Interview process assures I've covered every last detail. This year (2014# was the first year I had any #minor) trouble when disc wouldn't self-load so I had to find the autorun file on my own. However; once I got it installed it ran flawlessly as usual.
What's great about it: Thorough review of all issues is easy to do
What's not so great: Software didn't automatically install

Gets simpler every year

I've used Turbo Tax for years. I've taken my records to an accountant to have them see if I was doing everything right - or was there something being missed. Sure enough, Turbo Tax caught everything! If there is one improvement they could make, I would say when they guide you through income and deductions, don't put the "next topic" button at the bottom so I have to scroll past everything I already entered.
What's great about it: Importing of prior information
What's not so great: Not always clear descriptions of a particular topic
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Quick & Painless

From downloading the application, through federal and state preparation and reviews, and printing - it took one afternoon! I had all my documentation at hand before I started, then it was very easy. Gets easier every year :)
