Smooth & Easy Road to Refund!

In my opinion, TurboTax 2014 was a breeze to use! If you just follow along, it takes you step by step from start to finish in completing your tax return. We've been using TurboTax for years and have always been very pleased with the ease of use and the quickness of E-Filing.
What's great about it: Cook way to do your taxes!
What's not so great: None to mention. It was truly easy to use!

Still don't get it

Some taxpayers, folks or workers, have UNKNOWN typed in box 2a of our 1099. I don't know about all instances but in my case that is because a calculation under "the simplified method" needs to occur to arrive at the value needed for block 2a. I just insert the value in block 1 into block 2a because I don't want to underpay my taxes (like what occurred for tax year 2009 and listed my disability retirement monies as untaxable and when the IRS discovered the error 2 years later I had accrued considerable interest and penalties). Seems that this ought to be a relatively quick item to address and it would save some hair on my balding head!

No need to hire someone to do our taxes

I like the way Turbo Tax is set up. It goes through all of the pertinent questions and provides assistance all the way along. I haven't had to use the assistance features yet, but is nice to have them available.
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions
What's not so great: It takes a while to go back to a certain section
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Extremely hard to complete, never did finish state. Have purchased numerous times this was the worst ever, won't purchase again.

state of the art program for taxes

Instal turbo tax and even if you have never done taxes on a computer,you will feel relaxed doing them with this easy to use program,piece of cake to use and understand.
What's great about it: easy to use,walks you through everything
What's not so great: cant say,didnt find anything wrong or disliked

Really easy tax return!

Turbo tax really saves me time and since I use it every year, it has my previous year information loaded and saves me time. It's worth the money!
What's great about it: Super easy, checks results, gives suggestions.

For a guy like me, Turbo Tax Deluxe did a fine job in helping me calculate and file my taxes. Just don't take away from what is provided in the Deluxe version and make us pay more for the next version especially when most people don't need all the items in the Premier version.
What's great about it: easy to operate and well explained
What's not so great: too much self promotion
