Easy and thorough

Changing tax laws and related Affordable Care Act added complexity this year. Missing forms from some providers (e.g., mortgage bank) presented other challenges. It was very helpful to have the step-by-step feature available. Free e-filing was a nice "plus", too.
What's great about it: Although I'm a long-term user, with all the changes this year, the step-by-step walk through was helpful, thorough.
What's not so great: The relationship and displays regarding 1099-B and 1099-Composite were not clear.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Finally Finished

Overall fairly user friendly, most areas had good examples and explanations of what to do. Only importing explanations could have been more clearer, when you efile. Like do you have to upload the W2s and 1099s or not when you don't import.
What's great about it: Navigation between sections was pretty easy.
What's not so great: Only minor areas of confusion, like what do I do with my supporting documents if I efile, i.e. W2, 1099s.

Very Thourough and pretty easy

This program does take some time to go through but you know TT is looking over everything. This is cheaper than going to an accounting service. I have friends who also use TT and they vary in their accounting abilities and all like it. I think it can be scary using it the first time but it is pretty easy. I have used TT for at least 5 years now...
What's great about it: Really seems to cover everything
What's not so great: Does take some time :)

Great Product

Overall a great product. I have used TurboTax for years and am completely satisfied. The extra fees to do direct deposit seem high due to the cost of the program.
What's great about it: Walked me through every possible deduction
What's not so great: The cost. Time consuming especially having to move to the bottom of the pages

I know a lot of people were unhappy this year due to normal forms being removed. I didn't have that problem and everything worked quickly, easily and to our satisfaction.
What's great about it: Easy to use, no problems determining incomes and credits.
What's not so great: Irritating to have to pay for the statte return.

Each year I am consistently satisfied with Turbo Tax, it is simple, carries forward the previous year's entries and guides you through.
What's great about it: Easy Flow
What's not so great: Pay to file State Return electronically

Great product and I like that I have the option to have someone support me if I am audited.
What's great about it: It is so easy to file my return. Turbo Tax walks me through the whole process.
