Have used Turbo Tax for several years along with Quicken. It is a great overall system.. Takes a little time but is worth it.

Confusing

When I asked to go through all questions, it skipped many areas. When I realized it did not ask me for certain total and items I had to click the back button and then go back through it again and then the correct questions appeared. But it was only because I realized I was not asked for specific information. This years is more confusing than last years. I could not find where to put in specific information. Did not enjoy the Federal at all.. I still don't know if I did it correctly.Oh well. Let's hope I do not get audited.
What's great about it: NYS was fast and easy. e-file is great!
What's not so great: Federal skipped questions

Wouldn't File any other way

I wouldn't file my taxes without TurboTax. It walks me through so I don't miss anything, and it knows how to do the confusing parts that I struggle with (like Capital Gains).
What's great about it: walks you through everything
What's not so great: sometimes asks same thing too many times

2013 Tax Return

Did not realize I had to put in each medical expense in separately, i.e. eye, doctor, surgery. First question was how much did you spend then I had to divide it all out.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to navigate and check for all possible deductions and additions
What's not so great: Medical part was not clear. Did not realize from first question I had to put each medical expense in seperately.

Rock Solid As Usual

I have used Turbo Tax for many many years and it never disappoints. I have had a second look done by a professional and they agreed everything was correct. Its easy to do your taxes with TurboTax. They walk you through each area of your life. If you have a question there is even an area where you can ask them. Its easy, quick and pain free. I will continue to use TurboTax in the future.
What's great about it: Just as easy to file as usual
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
