Dang Daughter Made Too Much $

I've been using Turbo Tax for 20 some years and have always had a great experience with the ease of transferring previous years data. My computer crashed hard last year so I had to update all info this year for my joint return and my two kids returns. I'll make sure I back up twice this year. It would be nice if Turbo Tax could save the data, but I suppose they shouldn't for identity reasons. Was way bummed to find out my sponge daughter who is 21 working full time didn't qualify as a dependent becase she made over 3K for the year. Thinking about charging her rent...
Thanks Turbo Tax for making taxes relatively easy year after year. Customer for life, just like taxes.

Thanks for saving me time doing taxes by hand., I've used Turbotax for the past 5 years and it makes this task much easier.
What's great about it: Tranfers information from last year. Makes loading information easy. Answers many of my questions

Not enough choices for states:
married filing jointly and married with only one income
Should also have married filing separately.
VA will not allow couples to file jointly if only one spouse has income in that state and the other spouse has income in another state

Taxes Done !

I have relied on Turbo Tax for the last several years to prepare my returns, and it makes figuring deductions and filing very easy. This helps expedite refunds. I am grateful for Turbo Tax's ease of use and flexibility.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax walked me through every step smoothly
What's not so great: Took a couple reads to understand health care language

Took me step by step through filing my return. Was very easy. Especially liked extra info provided to explain items, forms, etc that I wasn't sure about.

Easy to use, but there have been questions for security for Turbo Tax. I am not sure the questions have any grounds, but just the same we take our privacy very seriously.

For better or for worse

Q's and hints were simplified and easier to understand, overall quicker to maneuver through. Didn't find as many deductions as last year, and the differences made me question it. There should be an analysis function that explains or breaks it down on why there is a big difference year-to-year.
What's great about it: questions and hints simplified things

Errors

One of the 2013 to 2014 comparison summaries of the federal return showed an incorrect amount for the 2014 AGI.
I mistakenly entered information for Energy Saving improvements from a prior year and the program would not allow me to delete the form, I tried it several times, even when it was asking me if I was sure that I wanted to delete it, it would not delete the form nor it would clear the credit, so I had to start again from scratch.
