Used TurboTax before and still will in the future

I've used TurboTax since 2013 and I wish I knew about it before then. I bet I would have gotten better refunds prior to having this beautiful tax software.
What's great about it: Extremely easy and straight-forward
What's not so great: Absolutely none

MY TURBO TAX EXPERIENCE

I have been using TurboTax for years. I am computer literate, but cannot write software or anything like that! Idiot proof best describes how easy it is to use it. If you are computer challenged, you have the option of doing it over as many times as you need to before filing. The customer service phone support is excellent. I used it this year for help understanding installment payments. The rep was the best and answered all my questions.
What's great about it: The software is fool-proof. You have the option for as much or as little help that you want or need.
What's not so great: I found none.

2104 Filing

First time thru a random number showed up in the taxes pai and I couldn't remove it. Had to start over. I was informed this was most likely an issue with Chrome. Second time thru - flawless! It even reminded me I over looked a dividend income from last year!
What's great about it: Easy to follow and use.
What's not so great: Doesn't like Google Chrome

Turbo Tax is great. It is so easy to use. I like the detailed info that is available.
What's great about it: Maximized the refund, easy to use, great info
What's not so great: little cumbersome if you want to change info already entered

I had amended my 2013 AL state return and got a $15 refund. TurboTax added the original payment value to the amended payment value as reported on Schedule A, line 5 state taxes paid. I noted the squirrelly value in reviewing the Schedule A and noted the error in checking the state and local tax deduction worksheet. I could never determine why the two tax values were added together and used the state estimated state sales tax for the reported line 5 value, which I felt was more correct.
What's not so great: TurbotTax erred in calculating my total state taxes paid in 2013. for my 2014 return.

So easy

TurboTax is the easiest software to use for taxes. I have used it for 10 years since we bought our home and had a baby. Without this I would have had to pay lots of money to wade through all the papers. This has made it easy by asking all the right questions.
What's great about it: Easiest ever
