Easiest way to do your taxes

Been using Turbo Tax for years. I like the data transfer, and then the program notices if you have carry overs or had a deduction last year that you my have forgotten about for this year.
What's great about it: If you used the program before most of the information is imported to the new year.
What's not so great: Shouldn't have to pay extra to e-file state taxes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This was the easiest return I have done in forever. Besides Turbo-Tax being the best, I have retired and didn't have as much to enter.
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: didn't dislike anything

Great, Time Saving experience

I did the full W2 last year without using a service like this. BOY this is a time saver!
For one, it helps me understand the parts of the form that apply to me so I don't have to go hunting through the instructions and then try to interpret it.
Second, it makes the whole process easier. I don't have to sit there punching numbers into my calculator for a week. I think this time it took me a maximum of 30 minutes.

I purchased two turbotax programs for one computer. I started my own in Minnesota and switched to my finance's for the State of Wisconsin and it forced me to purchase the state of WI when I should have had this free with the CD I bought. I looks like one turbotax program can not recognize two different states. How can you send me a refund?

Great Experience with TurboTax

The downloaded version of TurboTax 2014 was easy to use. Information from previous year allows me to compare this year's entry. The tool handled the new tax laws tied to Healthcare reform very well. My refund, both state and federal, was more than I anticipated.
What's great about it: Quick, Easy, Complete
What's not so great: Problems deleting vehicles no longer owned

Tramsmission Errors

Could not submit taxes using Turbotax Deluxe on a Mac running Yosemite. Obviously there is a bug as I was able to submit on a different Mac running 10.7.

I had to enter my mortgage interest several times to finally be prompted to enter the points/origination fee!
What's great about it: I like the guidance when completing the information.
What's not so great: The software has some glitches.
