Hopeful for better experience next year

Overall I love TurboTax and this is the first year I've been somewhat let down. Overall it's still a great value, but I'm really hoping basic question wording issues are caught before I do my taxes next year (Did you inherit HSA from spouse? Answer No if you inherited your HSA from your spouse). These issues seem small but when you don't know the tax law like the back of your hand, we rely on TT to guide us and make it easy. I can only imagine how much TT has to keep up with from year to year so I do understand some things, but basic conflicting wording on HSA questions seemed like an obvious bug. I had to do a lot of extra verification to make sure my return still seemed ok, especially after reading up on other related bugs on the internet that caused people to almost lose a lot of refund money.
I will plan on trying TT again next year, and I hope they work out the kinks in the main flow of the program that so many of us rely on being seemless and bugless. I don't have special tax considerations, so I don't expect doing my taxes to take as long as they did this year.
What's great about it: Great flow, love the comparisons to last year and pulling info from last years returns
What's not so great: Bugs in HSA area and question wording caused me to redo my whole return for verification purposes.

Pretty darn easy

I actually really like using turbotax. I am a math teacher and I have been doing the taxes for my family since 1988 (and my husband has an MBA). I used to actually use the paper forms.
This is the third type of tax software I have tried...the first was so bad I did the taxes manually anyway. The second was only for PCs. Yay! Turbotax can by used on a mac.

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years. While I originally was impressed, each year you keep upgrading, changing or presenting the information in an easy to follow format. You took a mind boggling process that I've always had to rely on someone else to complete, and gave me complete control!

I found a couple of the headers could have more detail and background. Such as the HSA header. It was a little confusing if I needed to add it to another location.
What's great about it: Easy to do
What's not so great: More detail under a couple of the headers
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Still need more leading by the hand through pensions, etc. Also, the startup should take you to the program, not have to go to applications to find it, my non computer literate wife could have never found it.
Still the best so far.
What's great about it: Quickest so far
