Good Experience

Once I figured out that I could go directly into my Adobe Reader to print out my review copies, it was a cinch. I'm making notes about this for next year.
All in all, TurboTax was a very satisfying journey to complete my tax forms.
The relief is overwhelming.
What's great about it: Instructions easy to follow for a first-time experience
What's not so great: Kept getting error message re: Adobe Reader

What's great about it: Easy to navigate
What's not so great: K-1 interest of $1 not worth upgrade fee...was able to work around though
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2015 tax

Not very clear about which forms to send in when you efile and owe Federal tax. Form 1040-V payment voucher says to mail with your payment and return. Turbotax questions and answers says only to send payment voucher and check.
What's great about it: very good at importing from 2014 taxes
What's not so great: Harder to use then 2014 version

Life Made a Bit More Simple

Turbo Tax makes filing your own income tax (and saving some money) a thing that is definitely doable. The instructions are clear and precise; if you do have a problem, there is a help section that is unbelievable. There are instructions (clear instructions) for EVERYTHING you do from start to finish. Incredible product.
What's great about it: Directions that are easy to follow because they are written for the lay person
What's not so great: I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Overall the package was friendly and easy to use. I did run into a problem with my password and not remembering security question answer but Support was extremely patient and walked me thru it
What's great about it: Prompted me and made it easy and organizized
What's not so great: Some of the language was "tax-y" and I wasn't sure I did or didn't

I love Turbo Tax! It's so thorough and found $200 in refunds that I had NO IDEA I could get! Wonderful news. So easy and so nice knowing I don't have to worry about if it's right or not. Thanks!
What's great about it: Easy, thorough, got me money I didn't know about!
What's not so great: Didn't save my files last year, apparently, and had to re-enter all information.
