While moving around the program, if I am sent to another section or downloading updates, it will say it it restarting Turbo Tax but it does not do it. I alwasy have to restart the program myself.

Rocked My Refund!

Almost didn't use software because of redefining types of software to buy exacerbated by the price increase of the most commonly used software. However, when you 'owned up' to the gaff and lowered the price...well, I decided to stay simply because I have been a user for years and am comfortable with the format used.
What's great about it: detailed direction on completing forms
What's not so great: not all "explanations" are clear to the user i.e. IRS rules
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Return was rejected four times because of TIN numbers,you people need to explain this better in the instructions, now have to mail in. I bought and used this product for years,won't next year. Also to try and send review would not accept my name it wants a nickname and when you put one in, it says that name is taken. So stupid

PAying my taxes

I have been using turbotax for years and recommend it for everyone. it has continued to improve over the years and I actually look forward to do my taxes every year.
What's great about it: very easy to use and intuative
What's not so great: does not tell me if it cannot download my forms early enough

I've been using TurboTax for a long time. Best Tax software in the business bar none.
What's great about it: Intuitive, comprehensive with great support information
What's not so great: none to speak of

I was also able to try different numbers to see what would give me a better return! This year, we figured (with Turbo Tax) what our return would be if we invested different amounts into our IRA for the current tax year! We reduced our AMOUNT DUE to $0.00 and now have MORE in our retirement!
What's great about it: Walked me through everything seamlessly
