5th yr with turbo tax

Have used turbo tax for at least five years, Love it- But after five years why don't I get a discount on the retail price, There are a lot of tax programs out there, I shop every year for my best deal, You should keep this in mind !!
What's great about it: so, Easy love to do it at home
What's not so great: this year had some problems with software

TurboTax is easy to use for a simpler return like mine. I like the explanations they give on what the items mean.

The walk-through for the new Affordable Care Act tax requirements and the review of how failure to comply with the ACA were helpful and informative. The review alerts saved me extra money this year and helped make me aware of deductions I would have otherwise missed that MORE THAN DOUBLED my return!
What's great about it: Review alerts, Affordable Care Act assistance
What's not so great: nothing this year
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and find it to be extremely easy to use. The program walks you through everything you need to file your taxes.

Quick, Easy, Efficient

It's simple, helpful, and incredibly easy. I was confused by two questions that had no "help" buttons on them, but by making logical assumptions and looking up things online I figured it out. Whenever it has anything to do with state taxes, it appears to charge more money than the program is worth, and I'd assume that it's for shipping/mailing and the like, but I don't think there is any place that it tells you directly what the extra charges are for.
Other than those two issues, I actually rather enjoyed filing my taxes in this manner. Kind of odd to hear, but even odder to feel.
What's great about it: Simple, Fast, and Understandable
What's not so great: Two unclear questions, Seems to try and take more money at times?

Overall the return was very easy to file. The software made the process very straightforward. I had a problem deleting an entry after I realized I made a mistake. Wanted to go back and delete the form. Finally figured it out and everything worked out fine. Took about 1 hour to do both Fed and State
What's great about it: Easy to use and understand
What's not so great: Hard to make correction once input is made

I would not do my taxes any other way. Why pay someone alot of money when you can do your own taxes from home.
