DELUXE?

If you want to be led then by all means follow. Simple direct questions... but if there are more nuanced issues or you simply wish to explore alternatives, this methodology doesn't easily permit it. If you do something like proceed to calculate a W4 revision and then decide not to, it is like a tar baby that can not let go and inserts itself regardless of backing up and trying to engage around it again. That is but one example that makes the program frustrating. It needs an undo function. Only other recourse is to begin a return all over again. If there is another way, (I would hope so), it isn't easy to find. Not as intuitive as one would hope. Also, I like seeing the why's. Program is mindless acceptance. Further, default entries like description of donated goods on Form 8283, seem idiotic. Didn't donate clothing, footwear... to my local library. I gave books and DVDs. Probably doesn't matter, but if it doesn't then why bother asking?
What's great about it: Generally simple to follow
What's not so great: Sometimes too simple without ability to reverse querry

Upset I had to pay for state!

I am extremely mad I had to pay for state efile! I bought the correct one for a free state. I had NO idea there was a date restriction! I have used Turbo tax for 4 years and this will be my last! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

Tax software for Dummies

This is my 2nd year using Turbo-Tax. It is easy to use, step by step, and I consider it the best tax software out there!
What's great about it: Ease use and of E-File

Again, very small problems

Program pointed out an error on my part, but not til the last moment. Had to re-trace steps. Printing issues as lines went over each other.
What's great about it: Love the ease of getting State return in seconds!
What's not so great: Printing issue this year (not before)

I have used this system for several years. It really keeps up with all the changes of the federal and my state tax laws. Keep it up Turbo Tax, I am a devout fan.!!!!!!

I love TurboTax. It's kind of expensive for tax software but I love it so much I haven't tried any of the cheaper ones. It's easy to navigate, easy to review, pulls info from more and more places every year.... plus It's Deductible is a huge help for my charitable contributions. One of these days I may try something cheaper but I'm not sure it isn't worth extra money to just stay with what I know. Good job, keep improving!
What's great about it: Easy to use, easy to find help, helpful reviews, love form view
What's not so great: Kind of expensive considering other options out there.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
