Always easy...

I've been using TurboTax for at least 12 years and find it easier and easier to use each year. Appreciate being able to input from last years file when I start my new return.
What's great about it: TurboTax is always easy to follow!
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax practically since its inception and have always liked the results. This year I had a little difficulty finding out how to enter the ES Payment voucher information but did eventually figure it out. I like the fact that I can enter everything needed to file my taxes.

You are getting to costly. Can't E-File my State tax for Free any more. Getting to many strange messages. Very hard to get someone to talk with about questions.

Awesome Tax Tool

I have used TurboTax for many years now and I really do like it (which is why I keep using it). I think it is an easy yet complete way for me to do my own taxes. Other than trying to understand if categories are applicable to me, the one thing I always struggle with is which place to report my other income. I occasionally work freelance jobs and I often will make less than $600, so the company does not send me a 1099-misc. I am a sole proprietor and use my SS# for my business number. Finding where to report such income is never clear to me. In the past I have filed it as business income, but this year TurboTax would not let me unless I upgraded to a business version of the software. I finally found a place to report the earnings. Enough people do odd jobs, hobby jobs, small freelance, that I think something specified for our types would help a lot.
My only other suggestion is that I have used TurboTax for many years and I have the auto-renewal. I am not convinced that I am getting a better deal than I could find online or at some store. Please do some PR and help me feel that you are treating me like a long time returning customer.
What's great about it: Fast, accurate, complete
What's not so great: Some things specific to my situation are hard to adapt.
