Have been using Turbo Tax for 20+ years and would not consider using any other tax software. My return has varied greatly over the years in terms of needs, and Turbo Tax has always been able to handle all those needs. I would recommend Turbo Tax to anyone needing tax return software for the first time.

As easy to use as ever. I have used Turbotax for years and have found it simple and easy. Error checks are very helpful.

you need to be able to figure out if its best to file married joint or separate with ease...very hard to figure out and software is not user friendly in this regards...

It was great that all our information is there from the previous year so their is less work for us to do. It was definitely easier this year to do our taxes.

Great Experience Once Again!

We have used TurboTax since the late 1990's and have always been happy with the programs operation. This years changes to TurboTax related to Schedule D were clumsy and disorganized at the Corporate level. At least they notified registered users of the change, but after the fact. Schedule D is almost a requirement for anyone with investments. So moving it to a higher level version of TurboTax does a great disservice to many, many users. This is really out of character for TurboTax. But in the end, a free update (which I appreciate!) fixed the problem just in time to correctly file. Updates, in general, need a look. Running updates works fine. But then TurboTax asks if the user wants to "Continue Using TurboTax". Selecting "Yes" flashes a dialog box stating that TurboTax is restarting, but it never actually does restart. The user must manually restart after an update. Why bother asking if I want to continue?
What's great about it: Easy and versatile program to use
What's not so great: Hassle's with Schedule D and updates
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
