Good Stuff...

I've used TurboTax for 4 yrs now. Prior to that I used Jackson Hewitt. Very simple program really. Takes away most of the guess work. Easy to use but again, there are fees with everything. The 'free e-file' claim is somewhat misstated I think...
What's great about it: Quick, pretty simple...
What's not so great: fees for everything ... free e-filing claim is not exactly true...

been using turbo tax for years, have found it to get better all the time. With it's information transfer from last years files, it saves lots of time.

Easy and Simple to Use

Really liked the ability of Turbo Tax to easily run you through all of the applicable credits. Even though we did not qualify for any credits, at least we know that they were checked.
What's great about it: Quick assessment of EVERY possible redit applicable to our family.

Can't Ask for Much More from A Tax Package

Really easy to use. Like being able to automatically pull the financial info from so many of my existing sources. So why this got 4 stars: when I looked up questions, the printing on the screen was too small for my feeble eyes and, coming from a non-state income tax state, why bother asking any questions about filing state tax. Come to think of it, we should get a discount for not needing to file a state return, instead we're paying for the the people who haven't moved to Nevada, Florida, Texas, etc.
What's great about it: Quick, Accurate and Asked the Right Questions
What's not so great: On-Screen printing is a too small for us Old Folks; Questions and cost of state taxes return for non-state tax states.

Easy

A good improvement to the program would be to make it so the page or section you are working on would go back to that section when you are done with it. As it is now, you have to scroll back down to the bottom to get to the next section. The thing I like best is it imports all the data relevant to me,as I am a previous user of TurboTax. I love this software because it does a great job and it is fast. I can do my taxes in less than 2 hours.
What's great about it: Fast, Easy, Cost Efficient
What's not so great: Loads Slow w/errors
Pros: I bought or sold investments
