Turbo tax makes it very easy and fast

It just keeps getting easier every year with the data they save from the previous year. Love Turbo Tax
What's great about it: Great review of items that affect your tax returns
What's not so great: Nothing- Pretty efficient

Ran smoothly

We use it every year and rely on it to take the pain out of doing it by hand.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax asks all the questions you need and the ones you don't. You get a thorough run thru of questions.
What's not so great: Have Turbo Tax put the AGI in a field then x's 7.5%
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall experience is great. Easy to use, intuitive, very thorough. Our only problems are the following.
We were issued government identity theft PIN's since our 2013 return was hi-jacked. This is common enough, unfortunately, that how to use that PIN should be covered in the basic step by step instructions. I was able to find how to enter that in the on line help. Also online help verified that the IP PIN number does not show up on the preview copy of my return.
Also, the on-line values for deductible donation items don't cover a lot of items. Where they were covered the on-line values were useful.
PS had a lot of trouble picking a review nickname that wasn't already used

Easy federal filing

I like the step by step features and easy federal filing. The state filing could not handle my situation. I will file by paper for the states. Paid for extra state and could not use it.
What's great about it: Federal Filing was easy and took me step by step.
What's not so great: State filing did not work too well for my situation.

Love Turbo Tax. This is my 9th year doing my own with Turbo Tax ! Was a little concerned to see from last year I had no sales tax listed. One page says turbo tax checks fo all missed information, wonder why the sales tax wasn't caught ? Have to check into that. But I did like the new features of help. Makes it easy,.
