OK, install/update issues

This is the second year in a row where there have been technical issues, last year it was printing this year it was getting updates and state programs. I believe it was related to windows 8.1 pc's only. I was fortunate to have access to a windows 7 pc. Sent email to technical support asking for assistance, never got a answer.
Other than that the program was great.
What's great about it: Walked me through it well
What's not so great: install/updates

Good but no cigar

When I had a difficulty entering expenses I had very little help. I tried on-line community no response and no way to contact you to get assistance or I was unable to find the way to get assistance from you. Made experience tedious and unfriendly by reading tax documents then finally having to enter directly rather than why I bought Turbo-Tax a menu driven program.
What's great about it: quick way to do taxes
What's not so great: worked in another state and had expenses expenses, difficult with using.

I've used TT for 20 years. Always consistently easy to use. This year was a bit of a snafu with the change in product packaging, but TT solved the problem. Never had a problem with the product.
What's great about it: Consistent year after year
What's not so great: Misjudged change in Product

Not as good as it used to be

In past years TurboTax easily connected to my bank and investment institution to load all the necessary INT and DIV information automatically. This year I had errors with both accounts. After double and triple checking my logon credentials via logging into the organizations' websites, TurboTax would not connect even with repeated attempts. I was very disappointed and annoyed. Also the wizard for DIV taxes was just plain confusing, which is rare. Overall I was disappointed in the quality of the application this year.
What's great about it: Auto loading my 2013 refund information
What's not so great: Would not connect to my bank or investment institution like 2013, and DIV taxes wizzard was confusing

What's great about it: Less than an hour to complete

Future income and life changes
on February 23, 2015

Consider inquiring about possible changes in next year's income, instead of assuming the following year's income and wages will remain the same. I am done paying quarterly taxes but the IRS and state assume that I'm still supposed to pay them.( Based on my 2014 return. )
What's great about it: does calculations
What's not so great: Does not inquire about possible changes in future income. I am no longer required to pay quarterly estimated taxes.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Where is Schedule C for Deluxe?
on February 23, 2015
Posted by: HoffmanBFC2
I was very disappointed that the Deluxe version did not cover the Schedule C for my inactive business. The cost for upgrading was not justifiable. I ended up not reporting my business - which I do not really like. The decision of Intuit with this regard was in my opinion was really bad.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: Missing the Schedule C
