Did not include more detailed info on where to put travel mileage when picking up medicines. Should be explained or connected to area about travel mileage for medical reasons.
What's great about it: Overall a very good means of filing tax returns
What's not so great: Do not include info concerning German Social security (retirement) in Social Secuity section -- See IRS Pub 17.

I've been using Turbotax for years and never thought much about cyber security until recent news about datadase breaches and computer hacking. So, last year I purged files from my computer and backup drive and inadvertently deleted my 2013 Turbotax file in the tax doc format. I did manage to recover my 2013 tax file in pdf but was unable to use it. I was forced to start from "scratch" without the benefit of having my prior year tax info transferred to the new return. I did notice though that Turboatax would convert pdf from taxact and some other source. This confounded me!
What's great about it: User friendly
What's not so great: TT Unable to transfer data from prior year TT pdf

Just The Best

I have been using Turbo Tax since 1994. This product just gets better each year. I have had accurate refunds each time since the year I started using it. Some people say negative things, but trust me. I have nothing negative to say about Turbo Tax. The IRS agrees with it's calculations. Top rated Keeps getting better. For taxes done to perfection, I depend on Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Very acurate, goes over your taxes with a fine tooth comb.
What's not so great: Sorry, I am not much help with this one.Haven't seen any this year.

Diminishing Return

I’ve used TurboTax for over a dozen years. Over the past two years, the product has decreased in usability and value. The screen size is only available in one format and the printing is quite small -- there is no ability to expand the TurboTax page to “full screen.” Additionally, when revisiting an area during the step-by-step process, each revisited screen is blank. In essence, you have to re-enter all data --no “review” is possible based on currently entered data.
I’ve been a very faithful TurboTax customer but I will no longer recommend this product to others and I am quite unlikely to continue using it myself.
