I've been using TurboTax forever and continue to have great experience year after year.
What's great about it: Quick. Very easy to use. Smooth updates.
What's not so great: This year it did not have the "continue where I left off" feature, which I like very much. But that's easy to get around

interest free loans no more

Great product, would like to see how I could lower my tax rate for next year. For example.... If I would have given more to charity my refund would have been this. Or contributed more to an IRA etc.
What's great about it: EASY to follow

More than the tax guy got me!

This is the first time ever that I've done my own taxes. I admit that I was pretty nervous, and procrastinated starting because of fear.
I finally decided to just go for it. I didn't have to figure out what numbers to enter in all those little squares! Yay!
They ask for lots of numbers, but it's easy to figure out what's what because it correlates exactly to the squares on the W-2.
I didn't have to pay a guy, and I got a bigger refund than the guy got me last year.
I'm happy!

Paid for Deluxe CD with free state and still had to pay for it

Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for the last several years and I don't think that I could or would use anything else. I have gone from a person that could barely balance a check book to someone that can file taxes in an evening because Turbo Tax is that good. If I do my pre-production Turbo Tax takes care of everything else. Turbo Tax ROCKS!!!
