Almost perfect

While most of the help topics were well written and easy to understand, others were a bit vague or didn't cover my particular situation.
A live chat option for quick questions would be very helpful for those things that need clarification.
What's not so great: Help topics were sometimes vague.

Every year, I think I'll hire a professional to do my taxes. Every year, I gather all my tax materials and think, "The hard part is over; I might as well use TurboTax and do them myself." I'm happy that it asks me simple questions, and that it does the calculations for me. I get frustrated when I decide to skip a deduction because it takes too much work, but TurboTax insists I answer the questions anyway, because it has transferred the info from previous returns onto the form for the deduction I'm skipping. Other than that, it's pretty painless.
What's great about it: transfers information from previous returns

What's not so great: Horrible to efile with efile confirmation numbers for both state and fed

i thought things were fairly easy. I am no computer geek and i have used turbo two years in row and no problems so far. i would recommend using it next year also. happy tax time, get your refund.

Worked OK; just a few glitches

Loading the info and filling out the forms was straight forward, as I've experienced in the past. The trouble came when trying to file my 2nd state filing. Turbo tax wouldn't recognize a connection to the internet so that I could complete my filing payment. I ended up having to call the Intuit support number and they straightened it out easily.
What's great about it: easy to use,; step-by-step instructions
What's not so great: had some bugs in this year's TurboTax program
