It was easy and great especially when you used it the year before and transfers your tax information. When you do your state return there is little to do because it takes all the information from the federal return.

8th year using turbotax

I found that when I entered the 1098-T and 1099-Q, the program was apparently unaware that for 529 plans, housing expenses (and I believe board) were acceptable (untaxed) expenses, so I had to search through the forms a bit to find the place to update the numbers so that the gains on the 529 plan was not taxed as an un-allowed distribution.
Other than that, great job as usual.
What's great about it: Complete, good at answering questions
What's not so great: a little light on 529 plans

2014 Refund

Overall it was fantastic and i completed my itemized taxes in one afternoon.
What's great about it: Step By Step is very helpful.
What's not so great: A few terms were confusing ie income, is that wages total before 401k etc.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy to use

Very easy to use especially allowing to download W-2 info. My return wasn't very complicated but it helped with Education credits and maximized my benefit. NICE! That was the most difficult part of my return. The drawback is needing to upgrade just to deduct for my High School umpiring expenses. I would have had to upgrade to small business.
Oh well, I don't know why anyone would ever go to a tax person when this does such a great job of walking you through everything

I have used Turbo Tax for over 5 years now and plan on always using this program in the future. IT IS SO EASY! I do my entire families taxes in one day! Quick, Smart & Easy!
So fast and the refund pays for my annual vacation! LOVE IT!
