I've been using TurboTax for several years and the program works flawlessly. I recommend it to my family, friends, and co-workers.
What's great about it: Excellent walkthrough

What's not so great: I preferred previous years versions of Turbotax more. I could manuever more easily and I could find the actual forms.

I have used turbo tax for a number of years and continue to have a good experience. The only concern I have is that the export feature need some attention. I had to manually enter my data even though the program features that it is capable of exporting the previous year data which it clearly does not work. Please fix or stop advertising that it works until fixed.

Greatest Tax Filing Software!!

Very easy to use, straightforward and complete. Really like the Q&A format. Makes tax filing less of a chore.
What's great about it: Ease of Use, ease to update with latest forms, etc.
What's not so great: None!

2014 Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax for more years than I can remember. It is always improving and easier to use. This year I was unable to convert 2013 to 2014 but still was quick and easy. I would like to see more on annuities/retirements etc. as that is confusing on how to determine if taxes were paid or not. Another new area is insurance. Perhaps a worksheet we could fill out for RMD's and health insurance premiums that you could then load into the proper areas. See you next year...
What's great about it: fairly easy and supportive information available for review
What's not so great: sometimes not clear if answers are used in other areas or doesn't divide for state file
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have been using TurboTax for over 10 years. I was hesitant this year because of all the hacking. I won't do online, but the Deluxe downloaded to my laptop worked fine. There was some confusion about the amount of my state refund and what was taxable- and I could find no help for this question. But much later on in the return I found the info was correct. The link to TurboTax Advantage with free help is not clear. But I breezed thru the return and filed state and federal easily.
What's great about it: simple to use, easy to understand
What's not so great: help is not easy to find
