Turbo is the best option to file taxes.
What's great about it: I like the Turbo tax and they are best there ever was.

I wanted to downgrade from a higher online version but had to start all over again. A HUGE pain!! Turbotax has got to fix this if they expect to have me as a customer next year. The online program should be able to fluidly move as needed for completion of the return.
What's not so great: Can't easily change online versions

Great product

Turbo Tax is a great product that we have used for many years . . . Since it first came out. We tried another product one year and immediately switched back to Turbo Tax the very next year. It is very user-friendly and helps go through this horrific process of taxes.
What's great about it: Simplifies the process
What's not so great: Some things don't have explanations (such death benefits, IRAs, etc)

Helped with 1st year college student

I have always done my own taxes. This year I chose Turbo Tax to help me figure the deductions for my child's first year of college. I figured my way then ran it through Turbo Tax. Turbo tax achieved a much higher refund for me this year! It was well worth the cost.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax helped me get the proper refunds for my child's college educaton deductions.
What's not so great: none

Because of the ease of use I keep returning to this product. I am disappointed that I still have to pay for my State return in addition to paying the increased purchase price.
What's great about it: User Friendly
What's not so great: Price increase & Having to pay for state return in addition to purchase

Felt Very Secure Using TT

I have used TT for the past four (4) years, but after reading all of the negative reviews of Intuit's change to require many users to have to upgrade from Deluxe, to get the same forms I purchased HR Block program. After I entered my initial data, I did not feel secure and again purchased 2014 TT Deluxe. I also like the prior year comparison. I am glad I used TT.
What's great about it: Really walked me through and explained new provisions of high dollar health plans, HSA and medical deductions from HSA.
What's not so great: None

beware of state

state question about children going to private school did not state grades K-12, I initially entered one for my college student attending a privaate college. Then thought I better check so I had to download the instruction manual from the state of Indiana to determine it was only for grades K-12.
