Great as usual

Very good. Like the simplicity. Some ideas for improvement:
Would like a section on next years tax issues: My kid is going to college, I am retiring, ....
Many forms are received in some kind of standardized format. Why not taking a picture of the form and extract the relevant information electronically?

Straightforward

Very easy to use and to review all information input prior to filing.
What's great about it: Simple to use
What's not so great: Still have to understand categories of income & expenses...
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I would like to see schedule A even if it is not going to be used. I use for tax planning for next year. Lost continuity of years of tax information since in previous years, we had schedule C's, sold stock, sold house, etc.. We are retired now and don't need the more complicated forms. To use our personal data, I started all over this year since none of accumulated information would "have a place" to go.
What's great about it: Cheaper. Should have used the Basic name so as not to confuse people on what they were actually getting.
What's not so great: Too slow, Deluxe in 2014 pitiful as compared to what 2013 was. Cheaper.

Easy as Pie!

I'm not an accountant and have never done my taxes before. It was so simple and easy with TurboTax! I like the fact that the program guided me every step of the way and gave me advice/assistance when needed. I give TurboTax an A++ for accurate calculations, great guidance and simplicity!
What's great about it: Helped me through every step.
What's not so great: It kept updating, which is really not an actual con.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Have used for several years and always works great. Didn't realize I could only do one return with the downloaded version. Had to buy in store so I've spent a fortune of Turbo tax this year :/
What's great about it: Easy, Thorough and Efficient

I am really upset this year. the program thinks its my first time E-Filing state taxes. this is my 15th year. it found my previous years and transferred all the information over but still thinks I never E-Filed state. this has caused multiple rejections because it never prompted me to add a drivers license for signature as it already had the last years gross income in the box.
What's great about it: Great program, have used it for 15 years
What's not so great: thinks i have NEVER E-Filed before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
