I have used TurboTax for many years. I even was audited once and passed with flying colors even though it scared the heck out of me. As long as you have documentation for EVERYTHING, there is no problem. Not a tax expert but TurboTax makes it easy.
What's great about it: Easy install, easy interface
What's not so great: got confused on some steps

disappointed in 2014

Seems Intuit may be loosing market share. While TT was adequate to complete my filing, the interface was lacking compared to years past.
Also, my version had a defect when calculating the Soc Sec withholdings and suggested I get an amended W2 from my employer. Ridiculous.
What's great about it: familiar interface (7th year)
What's not so great: defects in calculations

line 24a is 0.00 ( my wife paid Pontiac city taxes)
line c is 0.00 (I paid Detroit taxes)
if this would of done this, then I would of given it a 5 star. I have been using turbo tax for many years and don't understand why it wouldn't to the city tax correctly
What's not so great: this does not show wife payment nor credit for paying Detroit tax

Filing my taxes with Turbo Tax was a breeze! I understood exactly what they needed from me and I was able to find that information.
What's great about it: Filed my taxes within the comfort of my home.

Tax Calculations = Great, Completing Filing = OK

Filing out taxes was a breeze. Completing the filing process takes more time than filling out the taxes.
What's great about it: Auto import of W2, 1099, etc...
What's not so great: Too difficult and expensive to complete the filing process

Somewhere along the line when personal property tax paid (on a home) is entered, the app says something like "that put a dent in your tax due." Well, due to the new laws, there was no "dent" upon entering personal prop. tax paid. Did my taxes over a 2nd time thinking maybe I entered something wrong, but not, it was correct. Would appreciate you removing the app comment.

As a registered CPA, I still use Turbo Tax to file my personal returns due to it's ease of use and accuracy.
