great software, however, I didn't understand the new college interest loan procedure. Therefore, i had to call irs. Turbo tax should make new law and or rues easier.
What's great about it: easier and convient
What's not so great: If you don't understand something then you call irs.

Great Product

I went to an accountant for years. I decided to try TurboTax a few years ago when I couldn't get an appointment with him. It is so thorough and easy to use. I compared my TurboTax return with returns that were prepared previously, and found the program did an excellent job. Now, I can prepare my return when convenient for me at a fraction of the cost of an accountant! My children use it too.
What's great about it: Easy to use and understand, affordable

It's So Easy!!!

I love this software. It is so simple to use and it takes you step by step threw all the deductions making sure you get the best refund possible. I will be using this from now on. No more paying hundreds for someone else to prepare my taxes.

Turbo Tax makes filing taxes easy

State tax is not always accurate. I normally just file through our states website. They don't charge for efiling and Turbo Tax does. Federal taxes could not be easier! I've been using Turbo Tax since tax year 2005
What's great about it: Very Thorogh
What's not so great: State return efile charge (our state site is free)

Turbo Tax has always been user friendly, yet it improves each year. I tried another tax prep software a few years ago and will not purchase anything but Turbo Tax again. Thanks for making filing my taxes so easy even with the many changes my family experienced this past year.

It's a good app.
What's great about it: Very easy to use. Improvements each time using it.
What's not so great: At the end of the state return, sometimes it's unclear if it's referring to the state or federal return.

This is my fourth year using TurboTax and it just keeps getting easier. The import feature is great as well. It allows you to keep bringing in past data so you don't have to remember anything from previous years!
What's great about it: Very easy to use. Everything is explained
What's not so great: May not capture everything for everyone.
