It was so easy!

I really enjoy using TurboTax to prepare my tax returns. The program makes it very easy and walked me through my returns step by step.
What's great about it: User friendly
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I was very pleased with the ease of it all, considering I had to file a partial year form for two different states. TurboTax guided me all through the process, with no confusing wording. I like the fact that it's all in plain English, so anyone can understand. This is my fifth year to use TurboTax and I am always pleased with the result.

I was afraid of what to expect after the news came out that the return didn't include the same forms as last year, but there was no problem. Similar return from last year, so I got what I expected.

After completion, I had a penalty for underpayment of RITA taxes. After repeatedly going thru the review of the Q&A I couldn't get this resolved. I even removed the state and started from scratch. Not until I went directly into the forms that I realized it hadn't asked me for my 2014 estimated payments. Once I entered my quarterly payments, I had a surplus. I finally thought I was complete and I e-filed, but afterwards it printed out quarterly vouchers for income taxes which I've never had before and are unnecessary. I also didn't get SD100 vouchers, which are necessary.
What's great about it: used previous TT data and made the computations
What's not so great: confusing RITA Form 37 and school district SD100

Have been using Turbo Tax for a better part of 10-15 years. I have found that it is far better then any other tax programs on the market today.
