Turbo Tax is far more convenient and professional than other tax software programs.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions.
What's not so great: Problem with submitting the state return.

You cannot go wrong with Turbo Tax. We have used it for years, and can say with confidence that it's great. Using it year after year, all of your information is transferred over. If you ever need to access your previous returns, they are there on your computer, ready to reference. Turbo Tax is user friendly and guides you every step of the way. Why spend a huge sum at a tax preparer's office, when for a reasonable sum, and from the comfort of your own home, you can DIY!!!

Encountered 2 problems:
1. Even though I entered taxable state refunds on the "walk thru" I had to go to forms and override the "0" online 10 of the 1040.
2. Had to repeat the AL state return because of the taxable income section, went from owing 428 to getting 212 refund.

An automatic input for 1099R and other documents would be helpful based upon provided SSN. I don't understand why my entire tax payment to Canada is not allowed like it was last year.

2014 Turbo Tax Deluxe

1. Program takes too long to open.
2. Every time an unfinished return is opened the program asks that you update which takes a long time.
3. Page does no fit the screen. To advance to next page or topic requires scrolling down to get to the continue button.
4.When working with deductions such a charitable contributions going to the next deduction should not involve the start page for contributions. You only have to go to add another charity. Same for taxes, interest , etc.
5. Response time is very slow but that could be my computer.
