Trouble in Paradise

We were able to work and process the Federal return with no problem. However State return is a different story, for starters we now have to pay extra for it!! It was not user friendly at ALL!! It took twice as long then last year to file.
So disappointed :(
What's great about it: Federal was easy to process
What's not so great: State took to long to process

sometimes it gets muddled when you have to go back and change something.

The program worked great but when I heard that everyone else was filing online for next to nothing I was kind of bummed.

Had to pay

Ease to file but a headache when I wanted to stop and restart my return at a later date. Had to start over each time. Also when I said I wanted to input 1099 info then wanted to download from Schwab couldn't do so.

Easy Taxes

I have been using TurboTax since it was on DOS. I would prefer the software to be sold as one software package instead of 3. (basic, deluxe and premier) The price is getting on up to accountant prices after you pay for the electronic filing. However, I like the software and the ease of use. I will continue using the software as long as it doesn't get too pricey.

What's not so great: Different levels of software to purchase!

Not as good as last year

Very annoying to have to go back to the interview list to find out where I left off. In former years, I saved my return, stopped at any interveiw page and the next time I opened TT, it went to the exact page I left off. Not this year. Don't even get me started on the STUPID device of leaving out Schedule C in the Deluxe version. Huge hassle. apology not accepted. FIX IT for 2015.
