Hate that I have to Pay!

I love using turbo tax each year. I've been using fit or quite some time. It's always convenient and easy to use with its ability to transfer the previous year's data onto the present year's return. It eliminates having to enter all data each year. This allows for ease of use and is efficacious in terms of time and accuracy. The only thing I dislike is the fact that I have to pay instead of receive a refund...but, this has nothing to do with the program...just my own carelessness...
What's great about it: Always easy to understand and use...
What's not so great: Hate that I have to pay taxes...and, ask for an installment pmt plan

The easy tax tool

I've used Turbo-Tax for almost 10 years. It is very helpful when I have to calculate the depreciation for any type of property.
It is also easy to take any credits and the forms are very clear.
In all I like this software pretty much than others.

Done it Before

Had trouble understanding where it was leading me on Direct Transfers and Rollovers based on 1099 R information. Needed more explanation of why it needed certain answers, like 403(b) direct rollover with no cash out involved to an IRA.
Also had trouble printing out copies of the Fed & State but finally used Control P after "Viewing" file to be printed and it worked.
What's great about it: With new touch sceen it was a breeze.
What's not so great: Retirement Investments needed more explanation.

Easiest tax program i've used yet. Took me about an hour to fill in all the forms.
What's great about it: EXTREMELY user friendly, questions were streamlined so they went quickly

Glad it's finally done!

First and foremost, make sure you use a newer computer - mine was a 12-year old Dell, and required downloads of service packs to allow Turbotax installations. After failing to download the second service pack (24 hours later), I was unable to download Turbotax and had to use another family member's laptop to access my purchase of online Turbotax...a LOT of wasted time and frustration. (Note to Turbotax: Retrieving the download link should be a little more user-friendly, like an icon or link located on the home page and not having to go to "settings" in our accounts!!!)
Of course doing taxes is never fun, but some of the responses from Turbotax were cute, and sometimes humorous. That made the whole experience a "little" more pleasant, knowing how empathetic they are to the chore.
Overall, Turbotax made a dreaded task a little easier. However, it would be nice if they discounted the cost of their online Turbotax download, since it's a direct purchase, and not "bought" at a chain store...
What's great about it: user-friendly; sometimes humorous
What's not so great: required lots of time; sidelined downloads often needed
