Great experience with TurboTax again this year

This software is very easy to use. I highly recommend it.

Almost Perfect

I have used TurboTax for many years. This past year because of retirement, I messed up my withholding estimate and now owe the IRS some money. TurboTax gave me several payment options and I selected the Installment method. I chose to have my Bank Account debited each month, and also said I would pay $1000.00 now. I thought it would be debited as well, but TurboTax printed out a Payment Voucher for a grand. I wish I had know that as I scrambled to move a thousand from savings to checking to cover the debit. Picky, picky insignificant issue, but they asked!
What's great about it: Easy and intuitive to use
What's not so great: Installment payment sequence

Ugh

It took me forever to try to figure out how to use my credit to pay for my state filing. I had to go to advanced settings in explorer and click some odd box at the bottom of the options.
Not sure why this happened this year, as I have NEVER had this problem. I will never get that 2 hours back it took me to finally find the answer in some radom forum.
I tried calling but after about 45 minutes on hold. I gave up.

Thorough and straight forward. The steps were easy to follow and I'm confident in the results. Also, I don't have to pay an accountant!!

Fast 'n Easy!

Our first year filing w/o W-2's... after many years of more complicated returns. Have never had a problem. It was even easier this year. AND they included the new/necessary queries on "do you have health insurance?". Actually looking forward to doing my taxes w/ Turbo Tax next year!!!
What's great about it: Comprehensive, easy to use, fast.
What's not so great: None.

Errors and Crashed

The product gave me errors I could not delete (Form 2441) which I don't even need. Spent an hour trying to figure it out, then it crashed and lost all my information I've spent putting in over the last two nights. I had to start all over once I was able to download it again.

only way to go

I have used several of the different Turbo Tax formats over the last several years, each one has been simple and very straight forward. My children have paid $$$$$ to have their return done by Tax Preperation Firms, then have run them thru Turbo Tax and actually discovered that Turbo Tax found the exact same deductions at less then a fraction of the cost. HA HA HA Mom really does know best!!! ( PS: next year they both are using Turbo Tax)
What's great about it: Easy/Accurate/FAST
What's not so great: Sorry folks couldn't find any
