Finished in Record Time!

I thought this was very easy to use and made tax time much more enjoyable instead of long and painful as in prior years. Love the fact that you know exactly what is happening each step of the way, instead of waiting for the account to let you know at the end.
What's great about it: Very fast and easy to use.....walks you right thru it!

Early Filing

After using Turbo Tax for nearly thirty years, each year's new edition gets better and better, easier and easier to use. The walk-through set-up is just like being interviewed by a tax counselor. The program then completes all the appropriate forms and calculations and keeps you abreast of your current tax situation -- anticipated refunds or payments. After a thorough review with suggestions for improvements and editing, filing choices are expedited. All this holds for filing a state tax form also only with a much quicker completion, what with the transfer of information from the federal form to the state form.
What's great about it: Easy and excellent walk through of every tax situation. Much like being interviewed by a tax counselor.
What's not so great: Nothing to dislike.

I have used Turbo Tax for about 12 years now and will continue. It is strong and the updates keep you returns accurate

No schedule D and didn't tell you until the end that the State Tax form wasn't free and part of the software package that I bought.
What's great about it: Easy to work
What's not so great: No Schedule D and charges for State Tax

Recent Problems

Using Turbotax for over 10 years. This is my last year. I have had problems the past two years and will now find a different tax package to fill out my taxes. Problems with inter-active (online) Turbotax last year. And problems this year with picking up last year's info and E-file'ng this years taxes. Never again.
What's not so great: Too many problems lately.
