Great product... fast and easy. 1hr and I was done

I have been using turbo tax for the last five years and I simply would not change to another product. The transfers make everything simple. The questions are worded in common English so the mere mortal can understand them. And best of all... I enjoy the final checks that help correct errors if any are found, before filing electronically. I recommend it.
What's great about it: easy to install, and easy to use
What's not so great: the help windows have small font.

Turbo tax makes a dreaded job easy and fast. The detailed guide through are easy and make sure you cover everything. Thank you for a great product. I have been using Turbo Tax for 17 years. A GREAT PRODUCT!!

Best way to file on your time

I have been using Turbo Tax now for the past 8 years. I had someone doing my taxes and when you do not get a large refund, it takes away from that. Turbo Tax is like having someone sits there and do your taxes without the large bill
What's great about it: EVERYTHING
What's not so great: Nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2014 Turbo Tax Review

Terribly frustrating to not be able to see vital information. Never had this happen on previous versions. None of the pop up windows displayed at all. Long time user of Turbo Tax is very disappointed with this years offering.

This year just the updates and new presentation is a headache and it still looks as is not 100% and that leaves me with an uncertain feeling.

The requests for upgrades are organized or worded to give the impression that you have no choice, when in fact you do. For example, if you have business income, it implies that you need not just TurboTax Deluxe, but TurboTax Premier (with no price shown, of course). It turns out that you can bring up the Schedule C forms anyway and fill them out. I think the same is true about investment income. This seems intentionally misleading, and is the very first time in 10 years that TurboTax has annoyed me this much.
What's great about it: Software works well and is easy to use.
What's not so great: too many requests for upgrades
