Used turbo tax(deluxe) for 25 years, now it won't figure my taxes without an upgrade
What's great about it: accuracy
What's not so great: changes

BAD TURBO TAX

HAVE TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO PRINT MY STATE TAX FORMS TO MAIL. HOWEVER, EACH ONE IS STAMPED DO NOT FILE, FORM NOT COMPLETE. IS THIS TO FORCE ME TO E-FILE MY STATE RETURN? WHY DO I NEED A NICK NAME FOR THIS? IS THAT STUPID OR WHAT?

Always get charged for the "FREE" state filing

For three years in a row now, I always get charged for filing my state taxes when it states one free state filing. It asks if I want to use the one free state filing...I answer Yes and it still requires me to pay for it.
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: Does not follow through with free state filing

1) You advertise phone support but the support number is not shown anywhere that I could find.
2) TurboTax gave me no option to allocate a portion of my state refund for next year's state obligation.
3) This is the 4th year I have used a purchased edition (Deluxe) of TurboTax, and I have to reenter the same information every year. You advertise that you will populate information from prior years but there is no obvious way to do this.

Disappointment

I am very disappointed! I was kicked out more than a dozen times and then I had to reinput information every time I was kicked out. I have happily used Turbo Tax since 2010, but this was the only time that I was disappointed. I will have to decide what to do next year!
What's great about it: Downloaded information from previous years
What's not so great: Program locked up and kicked me off more than a dozen times!

I've never had so much trouble trying to file my returns as I have had this year. I doubt I will use TurboTax again.
What's great about it: None. Too dificult

When eFiling for my Federal & State Refunds, this process attempts to deduct Amazon Gift Card and/or Audit Protection from your refund for additional costs. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS ! There is no selection opportunity to EXPLICITLY say NO, Continue without additional charges ! I will NOT PURCHASE TurboTax again if this is not corrected next year !
What's not so great: Added Charges are VERY CONFUSING & CONTACT Number for TurboTax is discouraged !

poorest year EVER for turbotax!

TurboTax was NOT worth the effort this year. The program was screwed up from the get-go. Didn't even work right from the disc or from the download. Quit several times and had to be RE-downloaded. It was VERY slow to update and even load - which usually took two to three tries before it would load. After FINALLY getting my taxes done - it would NOT print the returns. LOUSY PROGRAM this year - I may NOT use turbotax again in the future. VERY BAD experience and NOT worth the money!
What's great about it: NONE
What's not so great: program was screwed up from the beginning
