Save me time & money !!

I have USED Turbo Tax for a few years now , and it just gets easier every year, especially when all relevant data just rolls over. Super simple and easy to follow, just need to make more Money & keep track of more deductions !

What's great about it: so simple , glad I use it every year !!!
What's not so great: can"t think of any
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Entering 1099-R information

My 1099-r from same source (different securities) meant I had to type information from one 1099r, 3 times, when I should only have to enter it once. Would have been nice if it asked if there were more than one fund listed on the 1099-r, so that I had option to enter more fund listed on same 1099-r (without payer information) or if I needed to enter information from a different 1099r. This would eliminate the need to re-enter payer, payer-id, payer address ... an additional 2 times.
... Also, once I forgot to click the IRA/SEP/SIMPLE box on one of them. I'd think you could inquire if it was entered differently (for the same payer) to make ask if it was a mistake (or "are you sure").
... Alternatively, would be nice if it asked for federal id number first... and if matched one already entered, it would fill in payer name and address from one I already entered.
... I assume since info (3 funds listed separately) was listed this way on 1099-r it was effectively 3 different 1099r's and needed to be entered separately rather than totaled (by me).

What's not so great: but, I basically had to enter almost identical info 3 times; when software could have speeded this up.

Easy As Usual

I've used Turbo Tax for years. It's always a good experience and it always gets me the maximum refund.
What's great about it: Checks for all deductions.
What's not so great: Can't retrieve a deleted form.

Guides through & checks everything!

I am not always the best at record keeping, but I can count on TurboTax to help me focus & organize. It is thorough, and gets me my refund quickly.
What's great about it: Reviews all categories from previous year; explains what may or may not apply.
What's not so great: State form had municipality #, but would not transfer to Federal, which I do first!

i did get very good phone help i have used turbo t ,over 10 years i do my kids taxes my only complaint is i had to buy pa state to do my daughters 1000.in come ,,her main income is oh .
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: none that i know ofmy main problem is i am slow on the computer ,
