simple & easy

the step by step instruction are very easy to follow and cost is not to bad, but would be better if everything could purchased in one package.
What's great about it: step by step instruction
What's not so great: having to pay state filing fee.

TTax Deluxe

I have been using TTax since before it was taken over by Intuit. The program has done nothing but improve over the years. It was, obviously to me, written by tax professionals for those with a very limited knowledge of the cumbersome tax code. At this point in time I can't imagine trying to complete even a simple return with out it.
What's great about it: Step by step "interview" helpful to insure nothing missed. Transfer of previous year information great time saver

Needs to fix verification instructions

The option given to verify my identity by using my previous year AJI did not work. My input is to remove it as an option and just instruct customers to create an IRS PIN so the return does not get rejected.
What's great about it: Fast and easy to efile
What's not so great: Instructions are not always clear or accurate

Couldn't be easier. It covers everything you would never think about and more. Only wish I had more to report! Maybe I would have a bigger tax return!!

Turbo Tax Deluxe 2014 Fed + State

My wife and I have used Turbo tax for about 10 years now and love it. Nothing could be easier. Once we made the mistake of using a competitor's product (cough.. Tax Cut... cough) and thought the interface was terrible. We are lifetime Turbo Tax users now.
What's great about it: The absolute easiest and fastest way to file
What's not so great: Non
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
