I have been using TurboTax for, at least 10 years, and I find this product to be top quality. I am a degreed accountant who is fairly Type A in keep all our tax records and TurboTax is extremely professional in that aspect.
Some years ago I discovered errors that spanned 3 years of tax filings and TurboTax got me through filing those amended filings.
Kudos to Intuit for a polished and professional product. I will always use your software.

Generally easy to use and asked appropriate questions.
Believed first state to be free but it was not. Return was for
student resident of one state working only in a second state.

What's great about it: Easy to work with for knowedgeable person
What's not so great: Surprise charge at the end for first (and only) state return.

I have used Turbotax for several years now and always been pleased with how well it takes me through the twists and turns the IRS so graciously provides each year.
This year has been a challenge. I have tried to deal with them( the things that didn't work properly) as I encountered them but a couple defied all attempts.
Change seems to be the god to which business prays for reasons that usually defy common sense. When you have a working solution, you should always remember, don't fix what ain't broke.
The one very bright light that I found was the lady to whom I spoke ref. my final problem, unable to e-file, incident#410348457. I believe her name was Brianna.
This person was willing to stick with me until a solution was found. The effort that she put forth was absolutely inspiring. If you want to teach your employees what customer service really is you should use her as an example. An example of how to doggedly stick with a problem, with courtesy, patience, and determination, until a solution is found.
This dedicated employee needs a medal!!

The first time I filled out the information, Turbo Tax downloaded it for me, but then didn't save it so I had to do it all over. But when I went to download last year's info, Turbo Tax said it couldn't find it, so I had to enter everything manually. It was extremely irritating. I have never had this trouble before, as I have been using Turbo Tax since the 1980's.
What's great about it: Been using TurboTax since it came out and generally love it. I have recommended it to all my kids, grandkids and friends
What's not so great: First time around it didn't save and had to enter everything a second time. That was a pain.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The best ever....product made

I enjoy using TurboTax because the name said it all. This is my third year and I it keep getting better all the time.The way to go is intuit TURBO...THANK YOU

I have used Turbo Tax for years and this year was most confusing and there was not enough info. You're going backwards instead of forward in improving your product.
What's great about it: CAn do my own taxes
What's not so great: Kept returning me to the beginning - and kept asking for money to file!!!

Taxes are done!

Turbo Tax makes the task of having to do taxes as painless as possible. I can honestly say that it is an enjoyable process watching the return grow as I input my information! I will continue to use this product for my family's needs!
